ASOS X OLIVIA THE WOLF

We just launched a full exclusive hair accessories range for UK's largest independent online fashion retailer! 

The collection consists of 13 headpieces made with a variety of materials and techniques like intricate beading, wiring and stone setting. Pictured above is style # 821874, made with wax stems built into a double headband in a traditional spanish style (55 GBP). We added some drama paired with an in house made fringe veil.

 

“It’s a very eclectic collection infused with diversity. I’m a Mexican designer, who's lived in Canada for five years and I spend a lot of time travelling which results on an inevitable mix of influences. You’ll see a bohemian looking halo finished with an intricately beaded motif and a pair of art deco tassels, for example", said Sandra Silveyra, owner and designer at Olivia The Wolf.

As described above, product 821878 is a mix of influences and can be worn by brides and regular people too! (80 GBP) Same with this set of three brass flowers hair pins. Here we paired it with our flat tassels veil. (48 GBP) 

Within its own collections, Olivia The Wolf works with big retailers such as Isetan in Japan and Anthropologie in the US but this is the first full collection made exclusively for such a big Company.

Pictured above is a guipure lace headband embellished with crystals and pearls, finished with gold chain tassels (64 GBP). We love how it blend with this stunning Anais Anette gown from Union Bridal!

Annapurna rocking our boho crystal ornamented tiara (85 GBP) Handmade in our Vancouver studio with silver and gold tones, cream seed beads and sparkly navette crystals.

Style  821872 is a beautiful lace comb (32 GBP) embellished with crystals and pearls. Perfect with an updo, as shown above.

Most of the pieces were made in Olivia The Wolf's Vancouver studio yet parts of the process were outsourced in Mexico and the US.  Above we see style 821873 (40 GBP) made with delicate wax stems handmade by artisans in Mexico.

"It's been a very interesting process to work with people abroad but we wanted to keep production in Canada for the most part. Quality was ensured and we had the opportunity to add people to the team."

Chain halo made with silver crystal chain and brass gold components. Finished with crystal dangles and a silver chain tassel in the back. 

Two rose gold pieces are included in the collection, in this case worn together by beautiful baby Anna. A rose gold crystal high headband (55 GBP) and a(60 GBP) made with rose gold Swarovski navette crystals and finished with a rose gold chain tassel hanging beautifully in the back.
