TREND ALERT // Fall 2017 Ready-to-Wear
What we saw:
Mellifluous fabrics moved across stage after stage from
Paris to London, Milan and New York.
Among the array of trends at the Fall 2017 ready-to-wear shows
around the globe, the trend that stood out to us the most was drape.
What we loved:
Structured, monotone trenches mingled with airy chiffon, organza and
satin ensembles; a healthy sprinkle of fringe and feather throughout.
Bold colours and prints also had a strong influence this year.
Among the straight middle-parted au-natural hairstyles,
we saw a strong 80's vibe (we aren't so sure about those).
Lace-up boots and chunky clogs commonly strode each and every runway.
